Long Crank - But not when hot or cold?

I've had this issue for the last year or so, and it's got me a bit stumped. '07 E93 335i auto, 75k miles- JB4 w/BEF, Big Tom IC, catless DPs, DCI, Cobb charge pipe.

The car starts instantly when it's hot (~0-30min after parking) or cold (sits for 6+ hours). Push the button, and it fires right up.

The problem is that time in between. Let's say I go to see a movie and come out afterward, the car will crank for about 5 seconds before it sort of stumbles to a start. It always starts, no question there, but it just has a harder time when it's between hot and cold. I've recently done the normal maintenance of changing plug & coils and blasting the intake ports, and the issue was present both before and after. I've also checked the chambers for evidence of leaking injectors, and seen nothing. Also, no smoke or anything odd after it starts.

Other than this starting issue, the car runs like new. Very strong, no issues running WOT, no error codes, nothing. Now that I'm taking the time to type it out, I'm wondering if there's an issue with the temperature-based starting enrichment that is causing insufficient fueling during this luke-warm start up. I think it's being starved for fuel, based on the way it stumbles to a start.

Has anyone encountered this before? I found nothing when searching, it's usually a hot-start or cold-start problem, which is sort of the opposite of my issue.
