E90 pre-lci ahl question

I searched the forum but can't find anything about my case.
This week I crashed my car against a boar 😥
One headlight is dead.
I have the change to buy one really cheap But the problem is that it's ahl and my car don't have it.
My questions is, can I have it installed and use it fine without any coding or retrofits?
I don't want to use the ahl, both are bi-xenon.

Thanks

Just get a non adaptive bi xenon and. Code out adaptive save you some money on having to get the module. You can then remove the adaptive module from the other side and sell it to help pay for new headlight.

Personally I didn't care for adaptive and where the module is located always got wet when it would rain hard. Didn't seem senseblie to keep replacing all modules and balalsts

My car don't have adaptive by default, so don't need to code out, my problem is to know if I install the headlight with adaptive and remove the module the light will be straight and aligned?

Thanks for the reply

Thanks for the reply

Cant be guaranteed straight and aligned. Thats if the previous owner removed them when straight and aligned. I read somewhere where you can stick your finger through one of the bulb holes to adjust and they do have adjustment screws if i call correctly. But i know when i removed my adaptive modules, the headlights were still straight and aligned and the shutters worked correctly for highbeam. Im just not sure if the wiring would be plug and play, I believe it would be.
