Trimming fenders instead of rolling them
So you know that part of the fender that you "roll" to get more clearance... (I feel this is a numb question and I'm sure people have done it), but can you just trim that piece off without distorting the structure of the fender?
I feel I've seen this done, but I always question that the piece you cut off holds the arch of the fender in-tact and doesn't make it appear wobbly or bent.

I had it done on my zhp. Either method is acceptable as long as a good quality job is done. In the rust belt I'd probably prefer rolling but I live in a non salt region.

It's stupid to do unnecessary bodywork. Now if you need to cut the fenders and are committed then hack away.

Originally I wanted to do this to see if I can clear a 17x10 in the rears. Second thought I may just run a 9.5 and not trim any of the fenders.
