Question 2007 E90 Nav slow after installing new map DVD

Bought the BMW "Professional North American" Eastern and Western 2 DVD set of EBAY. The disks look legit.

With the original 2007 single DVD disk that came with the car installed, address lookup and route calculation were reasonably fast. Of course, there was a lot of missing address in the old maps.

With the Eastern "Professional" DVD installed, address lookup and route calculation is really really slow.

Once the route is finally calculated, the Nav works fine.

Is this normal behavior?

Any way to speed it up short of swapping out the CCC for CIC Nav?

It could be the quality of the DVDs and/or the write process they used when creating them. They're most likely not BMW OEM disks. I would keep an eye out for the unit overheating.
