E92 i-Drive knob on E90?

I got mine this afternoon and installed it. It looks and feels great. Easy install, just pry the old knob off while protecting the console with some kind of padding and snap the new knob on.

Thanks to BzsBimmer and JD for researching the part numbers for us.

just installed mine...here are some pics.
FYI, I had to pull really hard on the knob to get it off.

P.S.: sorry for the bad pics.. I'll take some better quality pics tonight.

I got mine today too.
Installed it and I love it.
the rubber ring makes it so much easier to grab the knob.

All I have right now are burnt finger tips... no new knob yet

Installed it today on my car (06 330i) today. Loved it. Will have to wait till summer to verify the finger burning fix but for now I love the touch of leather on the knob.

The old iDrive knob is actually heavier than the new one. But the leather wrapping on the new knob is a nice touch and fits nicely with black leather interior.

I am embarassed to ask but what is the difference bewteen the two pictures? The 364 and 365 look the same. Thanks!

One has more of a shiny gloss appearance and the other one will have more of a darker matte finish.
I chose the darker and it's fine for me

the '364 arrived today; wrapped a butter knife with a MF towel and popped the old one off, lined the new one up and snapped it right on - AWESOME!
