Can anyone identify this part please? N47 Engine

Morning all. Cut a long story short I've had an engine rebuild done on my N47 318d.

Noticed white smoke coming out from under the engine and it's coming from this part.

I've attached pictures and highlighted the part with a yellow circle from realoem.

I've checked on realoem and you can see it on the pictures but it doesn't list it as anything? Can anyone help? Could do with getting a new one as mine is very loose.

Also if anyone could suggest why smoke is coming out of there anyway I'd appreciate it.

It looks like the crankcase ventilation cap? Not entirely sure...does the pipe that comes from it go to the clean air intake to the turbo?
