Oil/Fluid leak near middle of car
I noticed today that about 2 drops had accumulated but not yet 'dropped' from my car. My car is a 2008 335xi coupe and has about 4k miles on it. I ordered it Oct 2007 received in December 07. I used a white napkin to wipe away and it was gold color like clean oil. I figured after 4k miles I should have dirty oil IF in fact it is oil. The oil leak is running along the front portion of a silver rectangle right behind the front axle. I am guessing its where the oil filter is, but it could be near the front differential as I have an XI....
Any thoughts???
I was about to install my coilovers when I saw it..I stopped and figured any MOD would give BMW an excuse to try and blame my mods so i held off on the coilover install until I can take it to the dealer tomorrow. Hope its nothing....who knows..car is completely stock...for now!! Good thing I didnt put on my AA BOV either!!
