2008 335i sedan

I've purchased an upgraded intercooler which will use oem connection parts. I'd like to replace some of the gaskets on the piping coming into the intercooler as well as leaving the intercooler.



So far i've found

Part #: 11-61-7-791-469

and

Part #: 11-61-7-791-470

Does this sound right? I thought the inlet and outlet of the intercooler has the same gaskets on the piping. But these 2 gaskets are different in price and color. I thought both were black.

Any input would be great

Those are the correct bumpers for the orings. Size is the same but diferent heat resistance thus diferent color.

I literally can't get the pipe to clip into the intercooler on the right side (green oring)
Is there any tips? Am I missing something here?

Are you using stock hoses? Mine were a little ornery at first but I got them eventually...you just need to make sure that hoses are square with the connections. I think some others have said they had better luck by doing the hoses before they bolt up the intercooler...

Yea, greased them up and everything. definately cant get it in, so weird.
take the green oring off and it slides instantly in.

Ill have to give it another go....

It still makes perfect boost but..... weird.

Like the other poster mentioned, try to squarely line them up if possible and use a couple of pliers to gently pull the aluminum lip toward the plastic outer connection.
