New here, ordering a 335i coupe(possibly Dinan)
Hey fellas,
I am ordering a 335i coupe 6MT. Due to the transmission I have to order it I guess. Theree was only one stick on the lot in Vegas. My question for you guys is how well does the Dinan reflash and exhaust work? Are the numbers they quote fairly accurate? I was considering doing that because I want to keep the factory warranty. Thanks in advance for the help. |

Also the numbers they quote are HP at the flywheel.

If you do a search under Dinan you'll find a few good threads posted about them. From what I've read so far, its a whole lot of money for a tune

Well, I almost bought the M3 and this is saving me about 20k. How much of a difference are we talking here? Are the piggyback chips as dependable? Which do you guys prefer?

You have a lot of reading to do my friend.
There are ups and downs to the Dinan kit (as with any tune). Do some research and see which tune is right for you!

I see that you were looking at the Dinan flash as well as the exhaust. We have a couple of couple members on this forum that have that exact combination, and they have had excellent things to say about it. I have the Dinan Stage I Flash, and I have absolutely loved it. The power that it has offered definitely helped to really transform the character of the car. The flash will run you about $2,000. Depending on how long you can wait, Dinan is coming out with a Stage II Flash package that comes with a new Intercooler, and that package will run about $3,600. That package is good for 407hp and 429tq at the crank. |
