Parts needed for CCC to CIC IDrive swap?
I am getting a CIC complete setup form someone who is parting out a car.
I know I need the head unit, screen, controller and combox from the trunk area. What other parts will I need? I am wondering if I will need to cut off some cable ends that will need to be spliced or should things be plug and play (I know I need coding later). My car is a 2008 335i E93, donor car is a 2009 335i E90 Thanks for any advice you can give. |

OK, so those parts should be in the donor car I assume?
P.S. My CCC has the USB/Aux jack in my center console but I guess I may need the glove box one as well right? |

Get the CIC trim, controller console trim, usb and wire to glovebox, screen video wire between the cic and screen, screen power wire pigtail to reuse connector, combox pigtail to reuse connector.
