Looking at purchasing a 335i and it doesn’t have Idrive fitted.

I am just wanting to know if anyone has fitted one of these or something similar it comes with a I drive controller for it is this a fairly easy insalll I know you have to cut the dash for the headunit and would I be able to get a center facia for the controller to fit into I am unsure on wiring being there for both the head unit and Idrive controller if the car doesn’t have Idrive fitted from factory.
