would 245/40/18 fit my e90 Front??

My friend is selling a set of 245/40/18 tires, I'm thinking of picking them up. Does any one know if they'll fit my e90 (front)?

I think fitment will depend on:
What wheels are you using? (offset?)
Sport or standard suspension?

I'm not sure what tires you have stock, but my E90 has 225 fronts. So, a 245 would only be 20mm wider, or 0.79 inches. Since half of the extra width is on both side, the side walls will be 0.4" wider on each side. That shouldn't be a problem....
