Like Inxguy said, you bought the wrong bulbs for the actual headlight globe. LUX bulbs are for the light rigs around the light bezels. You need to just buy a standard 55 Watt H7 headlight bulb to repair either the the low beam headlight globe or the high beam globe; they both take the same H7 bulb. Any auto parts store will carry a H7 headlight bulb.

If you want more light output H7 halogen blubs are available up to 100W, but they are not DOT legal to use in the USA.

For best fit, get this one. The heatsink screws off so you can put the H7 clip on it, then screws back on. No fan needed so zero worries. Been running one in my cars for 3+ years.

Almost as bright as OEM LEDs and way brighter than halogen. Not blue tinted.

You MIGHT need BMW coding app and connect over the bluetooth dongle to disable headlight checks. I did that on mine for all bulbs starting with reverse.

They ain't cheap, but when dealing with H7 clip, you got to get the ones that fit. The $39 one from Amazon I got isn't fitting right. Bright as hell but pointing all over because the clip won't go over it.
