Toss it in the trash, and go spend the $10 at Costco to get a pack of 36 new ones!!
![]() Now to your question ... just throw it in the washer.... just don't use fabric softener on them. |

if they're soiled badly, buy new ones....I have ones dedicated to exterior, interior painted jambs, interior plastics, etc.....the exterior ones stay the cleanest with frequent washes....I use a very small amount of laundry detergent in cold wash, dry only with other microfiber and use no dryer sheets...that or hang/air dry....

General maintenance consists of HOT water, about 1/2 the detergent you would normally use for laundering. Dry on low, remove/fold while still slightly damp......
Anything real ugly should be relegated to door jambs and engine or chrome work. |

I do similar. I like to have 3 sets of towels. First, and very importantly, get some cheap cotton towels to use on junk areas that won't scratch. Under the hood, wheel wells, plastic, etc. Those are the kind of things that will turn perfectly good microfibers completely black and trash them. Then keep another set of cheap microfibers for areas that aren't as important and dirtier, like the inside of the doors, trunk, places like that. And then a set of quality microfibers for the rest of your paint. The nice ones won't get very dirty so they should last you a while, and the rest is cheaper to replace. Oh, and yeah, don't forget to wash only with other MFs. That's important. I accidently put a dish towel in with mine the other day and they came out with red fuzz balls all over them. ![]()
