Is this (facelift) going to come from Sept production on E9x? When will it be at a motorshow - its getting quite late in the year without confirmation isn't it?

There are a few threads if you have a search, but the more sources the better.

The facelift is almost certainly going to come with September build. But BMW is NOT going to admit to that until the last moment (days or weeks at most)so that they don't hurt sales.

It also means that it will be at least mid Sept before you see one!

I've seen several threads on the facelift, but none with any detail like this. Just read that the photoshoot for the facelift is happening now in Spain, so this is consistent with it being Sept.

The new I-drive & scroll wheel sounds good, but maybe for new 7er first only. Mixed views on this.

From the description I've read about the scroll wheel I'm going to be expecting to see a whole lot of accidents from idiots scrolling through their iPods instead of watching the road. If that occurs, you'll probably see it removed PDQ.
