Looking to go single turbo. Need help
I've owned my 08 335xi auto for about 5 months. Car currently sits at 111000 miles. I'm looking to go single turbo within the next year. Looking for more reliability with the single but don't know which kit best suits 600+ hp as a daily driver. Please spoon feed me lmao. These are the mods currently done. I want to know what parts I can keep on that can be used for a ST kit.

Do a low A/R Smaller single turbo. 6062 with the smallest A/r possible on the twin scroll turbine housing is my plan. This platform doesn't have a lot of data with the 6062 floating around, but the audi b5 s4 platform has yielded crazy results out of the 2.7T with this turbo. 700+ at the wheels while flowing close to 30 PSI at 4500 RPM.

My vote is the ACF/VM ST Top mount kit. Same price as DR but superior design overall for top mount.
Bottom mount speedtech ST seems to be the best price and turbo selection. Motiv if you have the coin. The real question is what fuel will you have available? Do you want 600whp daily on 93 pump? That will effect many things. I would hazard to guess you don't have E85 readily available or you would be running an E blend with your custom wedge tune on the RB twins. https://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31531 <--auto tranny 22 Psi on 93 and meth it made 601. Just as an example.

I have a few ideas you might want to consider.
First will be fuel. You won't be able to hit 600s without some sort of fuel upgrade aside from LPFP. This adds to your concern for reliability being that it adds a new failure point that could end badly. Second is the differential and the transmission. I've seen a lot of speculation about how much our AT can handle. It is rated for about 500 ft lb however evidence is conclusive it can hold more while shortening its life. With your car being an xi you will have to worry about fitment and accessibility. But I would also be concerned with the front diff. Take this with a grain of salt but these are thing worth thinking about

You will take off and sell your twins, inlets, outlets, and downpipes assuming you have them. Everything else you reuse like your IC and CP etc.
Your maintenance is all up to date it looks like which is much better than most. OP what else do you want to know?
