N55 short block in n54 car???

Has anyone ever used a n55 short block win n54 car.
This means all the rest from n54

Injectors
Msd80
Twin turbos

Keeping the valvetronic fully open.
Or using the n54 head on n55. Block

My n54 block exploded. Many n55 short block stock new for 5k
N54 15k

why not get a used N54? I think you'll need to redo all the wiring...

You'll spend A LOT more than you want to for a rebuild. you're best off sourcing a low mile used N54.

Also, Pretty sure that virtually nothing off the N54 would fit an N55

I can find a n54 for 750-2k, i'd look around some more.

I hope that's the case in Canada to. I've only ever seen 2 other E9X N54 since I've bought mine last 1.5 year.

The extra effort and funds spend on additional parts to make n55 run will make n55 swap not cost saving relative to just getting another n54 in there.
