Front Crankshaft seal kit
Would anyone be of service and help provide the tools or part numbers to just remove and install the front crankshaft seal. Not interested in the rear. Only thing I seem to find is the puller first the front but not the installer.

Just use Ultra Grey in the key holes and then run a bead on it on the outside of the seal like you are caulking a window or something, prior to fully seating seal. Then maybe run another small bead around the outside once you've fully seated the seal. Make sure you lightly oil the crank shaft w/ motor oil prior to installing the new seal. VERY IMPORTANT... Wait 24 hours after using Ultra Grey to make sure the sealant has fully cured. You can run the motor w/out the harmonic balancer & belt on to see if the seal worked prior to putting it all back together, for about 20 min or so. You need at least a 30amp battery charger/ maintainer to do that. |
