Code Out 9cb6 After Halogen to Xenon?
Anyone come across the line to code out error 9cb6 lwr coil? Also knows as Headlight vertical aim control break.
I swapped out the pre -LCI halogens and put in pre-LCI OEM adaptive Bi-xenons. I don't have or need the adaptive functions but Im getting the error now. Everything else works as it should, I edited the VO with the 522 and default coded the FRM and saved it back to CAS and FRM. All is well except this one error. |

I did more research and thought if I deleted $524 from VO- it would take care of it, but 524 has already been deleted. Now Im stumped.

That removes the xenon option.
At a minimum $522 disables the cold low beam bulb check, but after adding $522 there are quite a few other changes in my FRM TRC file besides the low beam cold check. When doing my conversion, I originally added $522 to my VO and reprogrammed CAS and (halogen) FRM modules, disabling the auto leveling via coding, but got this error. I then replaced my FRM with one that actually supports xenons (needed to get the shutter trigger signal - my old halogen FRM didn't support this). I reprogrammed the replacement FRM with my VIN and VO and disabled the AUTO_LWR_ENABLE, but also found an option DYNAM_LWR_ENABLE which I also disabled. There is no 9CB6 error any more with this configuration. |
