Exhaust help
I’m trying to get a bit more sound out of my current exhaust system. It’s loud when I get on it but nothing too crazy. I have VRSF catless downpipes and a Dinan Exhaust for e92. Pretty sure everything else is stock. Just want to make it a little louder with out it being raspy or too extreme. Is it possible to just buy the upgraded piping and keep my current mufflers?

I have catless dps with the stock secondary cats and then the mufflers deleted. Gonna be honest it's not that loud and it doesn't drone at all, not sure if this is on par with everyone else but anything under 4k is fairly soft and quiet, after that though it sounds like an entirely different car. Loud as hell

Please post a video of your car at cold & hot startup with a few revs once the engine settles down and hits 650 rpms. |

Of all the aftermarket exhausts for our cars I prefer the sound of the vrsf 3.5" single exhaust system. I know there have been arguments about flow and performance advantages of keeping it split, but 2 into 1 SOUNDS better, IMO.

Absolutely not. The vibrant resonators take out drone & rasp. By deleting the secondary cats (assuming you have downpipes) you alleviate all back pressure on the turbos.

Soo I got these installed... and so far I think I’m not a fan. The sound is louder but it changed considerably, it’s raspier and throatier and it DOES drone at certain rpms. I will try to post a sound clip later
