E92 pre-LCI taillights plastic shot?
Just went to put some stuff in the trunk of my '09 335i and noticed a chip out of the left inner taillight. Looks like someone hit it and I never noticed. On closer inspection, both inner taillights the plastic is shot and crazed. So it may not have been a hard hit and the culprit may not have even noticed. Outers look fine?
Obviously I have to replace this but should I spray it with some kind of UV protectant before installation? If so what? Buy a pair?
I doubt these are aftermarket. I have had the car since 2012. The pass side outer has been replaced due to a rear ender.
