iDrive completely malfunction
A few days ago, I turned on the car, engine was fine, and I had the "no SOS call" warning on the speedometer info screen.
My iDrive screen was stuck in "parked car operation", couldn't navigate to any other page. Radio was off, nothing was working except the engine was running fine and a/c was operational. I turned off the engine and turned it on again, same situation. I decided to press the SOS button anyway, within a minute BMW Assist answered and I told them my problem. As I tried explaining the situation, suddenly the radio started working, and every thing became fine. I haven't had the time to get it checked into my dealer. Has anyone experienced the same thing? Is this something serious? I was out of town for 1 week, I had a false low oil warning message first day I came back. Not sure if this is related (doubt it). |

+1 Something similar happened to me a long time ago. I did the CTRL-ALT-DEL reset thing, and it fixed it. It's never happened since. Strange.
