New 35D Owner Here
Hey Everyone, purchased a 2011 35D a little over a month ago, hope it's okay to be posting here. I didn't see a M57 / diesel page in the E70 section.
The car has 115k miles and been pretty solid so far, no major leaks or issues aside from an unfortunate yet small oil leak from the intercooler. I replaced with an OE one from FCP and has been so good so far. Twice so far, after the car has sat for a few days I would get a "battery discharge" warning, it would sort it self out and go away after a short drive. I also just yesterday got a random passenger seat tensioner / air bag fault, which also sorted itself out after a short drive. Which is leading me to believe the battery needs to be replaced. Either way, this brings me to where I need a little help. I want to be able to purchase some diagnostic software and need to know what kind of laptop I need and what software is best to do some basic coding, as well as reading faults, codes, programming batteries. ISTA, INPA, PA Soft? What will work for my needs? I have a macbook so from my understanding I need something with windows Vista / XP. TIA
