Here I am showing just a very rough idea of the double pulley I am planning to build.
Since I am not sure how much will the SC stick in front of the engine I am thinking of making a "go kart like" axle with bearings which will withstand some very serious abuse.
Measurements and proportions should not be taken in mind - just the general idea of:
2 Thick plates joined with spacers and rigid studs(they should be lightened); 2 bearings mounted on each plate and 1 shaft joining them which will have pulleys on both ends - one driven by the OEM belt and the other dedicated to the SC.

Here is a collage I made, which shows some real life photos of the ideas I am trying to implement. Go kart rear axle parts as well as some SC installs using longer snout or shaft driven double pulley.

I've got the following idea based on the genuine logic of the n54 guys posting in every n52 turbo/supercharging thread. So let me present it to you:

"Buy an n52 instead!"

I was thinking about this option but I will wait some time until they are finally bug free

I got home and the car was is perfect condition until last Friday. I was going to take some measurements in the morning and start tuning but at 2-3 o'clock in the morning a disaster happened... A TAXI driver hit me while parked outside my flat....NO COMMENT

Wow, that sucks.. look at this as an opportunity to put a csl trunk and some aero parts on your car

Saludos, buenos días desde panamá escribo. Me gustó mucho este post y casi como ciencia-ficción y al final como de novela… la verdad un poco trágica con el final.
También tengo un e90 con motor n46, estoy pensando en la idea de instalar un sistema turbo al auto pero no encuentro la header que va al motor y quiero ver la opción de instalar el sistema atrás en el auto aunque eso implique hacer un trabajo más grande de tubería.
