I just installed the BMS bracket on my 07 e90. I had to drill holes in the subframe, but it was easy. Not a big deal at all. I don't have any driving impressions, as I just got it off a seven month ride on jackstands two days ago, got it aligned yesterday, and have been doing shakedown testing for all the other stuff I did to it as well.

I figured the part was cheap enough to be worth it on the gamble that there are no benefits. I'm hoping there are benefits, though. We'll see.

I didn't have to drill any holes on my E90 2010 335ix with 6at. Small diff. I didn't really have any issues before installing, I haven't been launching the car, just thought it would be good to have before I started making more power with my new setup (built motor single turbo).

Thanks! So the small bracket should fit?
I thought it might be a good idea also, since the xi just has the one bushing on the transfer case. I was hoping this would firm that up a bit.
