Higher oil temps after N51 valve cover job?

Hey guys. Just had my valve cover gasket and valve cover (with the former replaced under SULEV warranty) at the dealership, and I've noticed my oil temps are consistently around 250°, almost dead center of the gauge. If I recall, It used to be more around 230° to 240°. I know ambient temps have risen recently around here, but even on cool nights this happened. And this only appeared after the valve cover replacement a couple weeks ago. Could they be related? Or could it be something else? I know 250° is well within the acceptable range but I am curious.
