Looking for DIY for an e92 w/ Logic 7 Sub/Amp Install....
Found these:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12983 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87130 I have an 07 e92 w/ logic 7, but without I-drive, so both of those DIYs are somewhat close to being helpful. So I guess my question is: What components from those DIYs apply to my car, and is there a DIY for my exact application? I plan on doing sub, amp and maybe a capacitor (depending on how the power is back there). I know how to so no need for smart-asses |

The Logic7 MOST DSP/amp is the same whether or not you have iDrive, so you should be just fine. In fact, I think the whole rear portion of the system (the MOST ring of Logic7, TCU, Sirius, CD Changer) is physically/electrically/optically the same. Unlike E46 navigation, the iDrive guts are all in the dash.

So whatever worked in an iDrive system can be used in your non-iDrive system. |

If you are just adding an amp or replacing the stock subs underneath the front seats (without a separate sub in the trunk for instance), then the following links may help. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=132807 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=134066 I don't know anything about capacitors... Good luck. |
