Rear driveshaft flex joint (Guibo) Replacement for a 06 330i
Hi,
Today , I dropped off my 2006 330i (6 speed) with 140K miles for a Rear Driveshaft Flex Joint(guibo) replacement and ground cable upgrade. While replacing the driveshaft flex joint, is there anything else that needs to be replaced / checked as part of preventive maintenance? |

I wouldn't bother with the front one - it sees way less wear than the rear one because it runs almost straight all the time. Certainly inspect it though.
Have a look at the rubber around the centre bearing - mine was hanging on by a thread when I did my rear giubo. |
