Pollen sucks

Got up this morning, had the car washed. Took no longer than 10 minutes before the car was COVERED with yellow pollen. There are CLOUDS of the yellow stuff floating around here today

yeah i know how you feel...........it usually takes about a day after i wash my car for the yellow cloud to hit my car......do you know if it would be safe to use a quick detailer while the pollen is on it? or would that in return create swirl marks?

Not sure, but I have wax on mine, I bet I could just water the pollen off. This is the worst ever...

quick detailer won't create swirls. dirty towels will. Just remember that if your towel gets dirty, switch to a new one or use the other clean side

i heard you have to be very careful w/ pollen, apparently it has these little 'hooks' that allow it to hold on so well to surfaces. these hooks can cause marring.

'watering off' the pollen first, then using QD while you dry might be ok.

Yeah a good wax/sealant means that you can just hose it off. I used to have to do it almost twice a week. Pollens gotten better now though, not sure why it's so bad for you when it's in the latter stages of spring.

It should be fine to use a quick detailer. Wow, and I thought it was bad here...

I live in an area with lots of pollen & lots of dust (desert). I know some will frown on this but I have learned to use a Ca. duster with really good results.
I don't like having to wash my car every 2-3 days. I usually use a qd after dusting it down. So far no scratches.
