How To Replace The AC Receiver Drier (Desiccant Filter)

Why replace the AC Receiver Drier?

If your AC system has been exposed to air for more than 24 hours, it will have moisture in it, we need to remove that moisture to avoid damaging elements of your AC System. An AC Receiver Drier is made up of those small pellets that come in a package when you buy electronics. Its to remove the moisture.

***YOU MUST DISCHARGE YOUR AC SYSTEM AT A LICENSED AC REPAIR SHOP PRIOR TO ATTEMPTING THIS REPAIR*** but most likely your ac system was broken like mine and you are trying to get it repaired/re-charged. It is recommended you replace the AC receiver drier prior to recharging your AC system again. The AC shop could do this for you as well.

Hope this helps.
