Nope, buy a big enough bed that its not a problem. Pets on the other hand...
First time i've heard of a California king - are Californian's taller or something that justifies the extra length?! |

My wife has her own room in the house. She sleeps in there probably 3 nights a week. We both sleep better alone so it works for us. The dog rotates between our rooms when we sleep apart.

We don't fight for space, only covers. I prefer UN-tucked and loose, she likes tucked and tight. I usually am in bed first, and asleep all happy then she comes to bed and flops around like a carp on the deck until she falls asleep which totally dislodges my loose covers and I end up cold. Pull covers back to me, lather rinse repeat. Better than the alternative, though.
