Hmmm, well looking at those faults it's possible the replacement DSC is faulty I think?

Do you have a bench set up? Any possibility to connect to a bench to rule out other damage?

Also, just to confirm, you CAN flash with winkfp or you cannot?

Good morning,

I will try to obtain another DSC, but this will take about a week before it will be here.

I don't have a bench setup. What exactly do you mean with this? A setup with only the ICOM and the DSC on a desk I assume?

Flashing with WINKFP and also with ISTA-P works perfect.

Best regards Hendrik

Good afternoon all,

Yesterday I received another DSC, and the behaviour was exactly the same: Programming ok, but coding was not possible.

After that, I measured on the CANBUS and I discovered that the F-CAN-high line between the DSC and the SZL had a rather high impedance, causing a communication problem between both modules.

During coding of the DSC, also the SZL is setup. Since this was not properly possible, it outputted: ECU conditions not correct.

After fixing the F-CAN-High line, the coding went smoothly.

Thanks for all the responses! This problem is fixed now!
Now working on one of the last big problems: fixing the linbus problem between the FRM and the power windows switch block.

Best regards Hendrik.

Good find! Nice work. Yes the SZL is coded indirectly via the DSC.

Hello Hendrik, I am running into a similar issue. How did you fix the F-CAN-High line? I am getting the same ECU conditions not correct while registering a new battery. Along with that I have Traction control, abs, brake light trifecta on and windshield wiper running non stop.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks
