I have ISTA+ 4.32.15 installed (from Joker). I know he is no longer doing standalone installers. He does provide the update delta files. I am unable to get them to install. The installer tells me to install with ISTA Loader. I tried to use ISTA Loader 6.6 but it hasn't changed anything.

Anyone fill in the blanks for me?

The bimmergeeks standard tools download came with a program
that allowed you to update your daten files. Also they had a daten
file included but probably not the latest one. If you are just doing
diagnostics it really doesn't matter much.

Both Inpa and Ista get there daten files from the same place.
Ista is just a higher level interface with and attached database.

Not talking about Daten or psdzdata files. Talking about updating the ISTA+ program itself.

Don't know why this would be an issue as these cars haven't been
produced since 2012 why would you continue to develop this.
The plus in ista + is about the cars made after the e90 series.
I understand they have a whole new software platform for the current
stuff.

Called Esys I believe and it doesn't cover the E90's

I have an F90 M5. The F90 forum doesn't have a coding section.

Go for the 4.30 ISTA from my understanding the after 4.30 version the activation is hardware based and basically you need to send a code to J0kers for the activation.

I'm familiar with Esys. Still just trying to figure out how to upgrade from one version of ISTA+ to the next without a dedicated standalone installer.

I dont do the activation, its out of my hands.
Your looking for a person called s***y, he/she is the person thats locked down the software.
The reason behind it, too many people were making money from selling the software.

Personally I haven't looked into updating the software, as I only use 4.04.12.

You could try and merge the SDP FOLDER + BLP FOLDER + SQL FOLDER from a newer version
You would also need to alter the reg-files

Cant say it will work, it could mess things up

Fair enough. Seems a bit pointless to maintain a repo of software that's useless without a key that's somewhat unobtainable.

Don't knock Jok3r5 he's doing the community a service that now one else is doing.

I remember trying to find these files 10 years ago and was a real nightmare, BitTorrent's and all.
