N53B30 E90 Engine problem

Hi there,

Straight to the point, I have some issues with my loved E90 2008 325i (N53B30). Sometimes when you drive around 100km distance or just give a car some good pressure (fast driving with high rpm or drifting) and shut down engine when you start up and after gear 1 (at the second gear) the exhaust sound changes, rpm becomes very unstable like goes down then goes up, gears tremble and traction goes off. I have an video with the sound, but I don't know if I can put a link in here with that video, I can send the video to your email or whatever if you think you've been through the same problem, or if you know how can I put it here just let me know. Ty for help. BTW when you wait some time or try to shut down the car and start up again few times the problem goes off and back to normal, so thats explains why scan doesn't show anything.

Your engine is able to tell you what is wrong. Suggest you visit a good BMW specialist who has the necessary software to read the fault codes and diagnose your issues.

Buy some ELM327 OBD adapter, connect it to your phone, install some app such as Car Scanner, Torque, Carly, etc and at least read fault codes from DME and share them here.
