The 535i exhaust is a little more restrictive, just like the 135i
because they aren't dual all the way back like the 335i.
Thats why they make little lower numbers on the dyno than the 335i.

The 535i as far as I have seen usually runs about 13.6-14.0 or something
in there

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong

the 535i has a horrible intake design, its not ram air and runs to the bottom portion of the car. the tranny is slower and more smooth, not meant for racing.
the gears are longer aswell as is the final drive.
the exhaust is ALOT quieter then the 335i, and alot more restrcitive.

the TL-S will probably lose to the 535i tho

I test drove one (though not really looking at -- was after 335). I think the 535 feels like its a little over half way between a 328 and a 335. Still pretty decent, but it doesn't feel agressive.

That said, I went for the E93, which adds 400 lbs to make the car a little sluggish compared to coupe.

it will smoke it, but not abuse it, i think.

i raced a e350 4 matic with my 535i, i did have 4 people in my car and was on a 93 mix, the e350 4matic had about 3 people in it, skinner people in it i might add. but it took me until 3rd gear to start pulling away significantly.
like i said its more based on luxury, the shifts and tranny, he exhaust, ECU, power delivery.
