Coding out SMC to use Pre LCI tail lights on LCI

I got a pair of pre lci tail lights I LOVE and wanted to use them on my 09 LCI, problem is all the wires are easy to wire except the SL+SML wiring which throw a SMC communication error as they simply aren't wired to anything.
Is there a way to code this out so the lights stay on?
I've already disabled all the "bulb" checks but it still happens
