Anybody's status on BMW change yet? PSI?

no way does the car sit that long. . . .
and the record has already shown that the boat docked.
relax and breathe . . . . The boat will go back to to Germany, pick up another group and is scheduled to be back to Georgia (on a different trip) on the 21st of July. The boat has already left port to go back to Germany - i just checked their website.
BMW website is always slower than our tracking of ships. Generally by a few days lag time. I wasn't on a ship until days after. . . . according to the BMW website. I'm not especially worried yet. . . partly because there is obviously nothing we can do, but also because of the article that you previously posted (i think it was you). BMW FLIES through their VPC process. . . . 10 days sitting there would be ridiculous. . . . especially since if you look at the post on soFlae90.com, somebody commented that they got it a DAY after it arrived. I think we are alright man - I've got some faith.

and in case you didn't notice my previous post of the WW schedule - the red lettering on their website signifies a completed port or departure.
Its all red.

SA didn't mention anything re: insurance. But whether its through them or on our own, we obviously got to have it. They can't let it off their lot without insurance. I'll give them a ring and find out.

I just got a call from my SA -
Car is at the VPC - work order is in, and it should be released to a trucking company within a day or so he said it should be a few short days before I get the car - the only delay, he said, was if the truck driver decides to stop at his girlfriend's house. HAAH. . .or maybe one of the shower places on the road.

Spoke to my CA he says its on a truck and should be any day now.

Hey guys-

Picked up my car on my way back from the shore on Tuesday night...sorry for the delay but Ive been driving/catching up on work ever since.

The car is absolutely amazing. Well worth the wait. When you first see your new car you realize how pictures do absolutely no justice to laying actually eyes on it (especially when it is yours). I couldnt be more happier with my choice. Every morning as my garage opens I am still in disbelief.

Of course there was a sudden thunderstorm today (day 2 with the car) so I didnt get any good pictures yet. Below are a couple shots I took with my phone when I picked her up.

Hang in there...the wait is almost over...and when you take delivery, you will instantly be reminded of why we have been obssessing for two months now.

Picked her up today. Spent all day driving around with my sister today.

Put on the spoiler tonight. Doing the aero lip and the angels tomorrow.

I can safely say that this car far surpasses my expectations. And they were quite high.

Also for anyone debating the saddle interior....aluminum looks HOT HOT HOT!!! goes better with the saddle than I would have thought. I just didnt like the look of any of the woods.

I'm guessing PSI and I are on the same truck. . . but maybe not. He could've gotten a jump on me.

Spoke to my SA this morning. He is going to give me a call this afternoon with another update. He told me yesterday it was waiting for a truck. Today he said it got on a truck and is heading down. They have a limit of driving 8 hours a day. Should be any day. Like i said - I'm hoping by Sunday. I just mapquested it and its a 6 hour drive from Brunswick. So add a few more to that cause the weather is absolutely HORRIBLE here right now. . . and because he will have to unload cars along the way, etc. . . . i hoping tomorrow.

I also told him to not touch ANY plastic or remove anything from the car. I'm going to have a detailer come to do the car. I just don't want to risk any swirl marks on the car from the dealer.

My SA called me today. The car is on its way on a truck. The truck will be delivering the VEHICLE TONIGHT. TONIGHT! That means it should be ready for me tomorrow morning at 10:30 AM.

Alas, my CA says I am a probably Wednesday pick up (worse case scenario). My only guess is my trucker is living the good life somewhere in Tenn or Ill and just can not seem to get the STL.

Whats a few more days.......

Nice Photos! It looks Great....My CA was off today, but I believe tomorrow is my day based on my Monday conversation and the fact BMWUSA is showing my car is at the dealer.

They are absolutely ridiculous (in a good way)! The Saab 9-3 I had moved in slow motion by comparison. Kind of makes the wait worth while..Kind of.
