Damaged bumper help!

Hey all, through my own negligence, I scrapped the m performance style splitter, front left flap, that came off but also damaged the bumper. See pictures.

I had to throw away the splitter and install the oem gloss black bits on the sides. But the one on the damaged side just wont clip back in. I remember they were a pain in the ass to remove. Now, no amount of force will clip them in. I can see that the part of the bumper that guides it in is damaged. Is this part of the bumper separate or do i have to replace the whole bumper? Should i give betalink a shot, I have some left.

Will appreciate the inputs guys/gals.

Are you sure that it was not caused by a small child on a bike?

I believe that is all a part of the bumper and will likely need a whole new one.

Unfortunately no. Last time this happened, there was no damage to my car.

So this oem bumper pieces are a pain in the ass to install and remove. No matter what I did, I just couldn't install it on the damages side, it just wouldn't clip in. But I got a cheap Chinese replica of the m perf one and viola. Fit perfectly. But I still have that uneasy feeling of a broken bumper underneath.

If no apparent damage to the upper part of the bumper apart from the clips then I guess you can save cost by just using black silicone sealant to attach it back. I have front lip coming off from the double side tapes after a while with weather and successfully reattaching them back with silicone. Wipe off the excess while still wet, clamped it overnight and it's good as new.

Silicone can be cleaned up without damaging the paint.
