* sigh *.

It happens irregularly. Most often, when I stop the engine and leaves the key in. I know; it doesn't make sense. But the cushion gets really hot, no mistake. And annoying when it is 85 F outdoors.

It happened once I started the defrost and had to make my whole commute in traffic, on those hot seats. If it does it again this way, I'll remove the fuse.

I'll eventually bring it to the dealer.

Any idea what could be wrong?

Intermittent problems sucks.

It happened again today.... but the car was at rest for 3 hours! The only hot cushion was the driver's bottom (not the back). Hot and staying hot until I turned off the car.

Are the bottom and back on the same circuit... are they controlled separately.

I don't know what the dealer can to investigate this.
