does anyone know how to fix this or what it relates to? i tried searching but cannot find a resolution.

I think this maybe involved with the fuel pump. I have the same thing.

not tuned. car is in the dealership as we speak. they said it was a software issue and they have to go into things manually.
just have a few lighting code mods. front parking light delete, double pulse blinker, keyfob, AE and fogs as welcome lights, V-speed on dash. to my understanding these light code mods are a seperate module from the engine so should have no affect on this error code 2F80. I hope its a fuel pump issue. |

I have the same code and got no answer on this issue. I think the dealer would be the only who can help you with this one.

This thread is old as hell, but in the interests of persistent information for the future: I just got this error code while fiddling around with coding. I believe it may have been related to coding KOMBI, which resets the system clock. My guess is, the engine turned off while the clock was set right, then the next time I restarted it, because the KOMBI clock had been reset to factory default (whatever that is, jan 1 1970? It just displays blanks), the engine could only calculate that it's been off for negative time, thus implausible.
