09 e93 professional headunit issue

I've searched all over and can't find any info about a particular issue I'm having with my 09 e93 professional radio. When I start my car in mornings, my radio turns on and off excessively. This only happens when it's cold out and eventually, the radio will stay on after everything warms up. Any ideas what this can be?

Always check your battery and alternator voltages first.
If the battery is at a low level after sitting overnight it indicates
it may be going bad.

The IBS system in these cars will turn things off when the battery
gets low.

The battery is new and has been coded to the car. Perhaps it could be the alternator but why would the radio start working after it "warms up" after the car has been running for a while? Wouldn't it continue to turn on and off constantly regardless?

Read about the IBS system in the Electrical training pdf in the attached documents

I bought a Alpine head Unit that does what you describe on cold days
but it basically wouldn't power up till things got warmer . Sent it in for warranty
replacement. If circuit boards have poor solder connections or trace breaks
they may not work at certain temps . Bad electronics and do the same.

Doesn't matter if something is new it can still be bad.
Also cold is hard on the battery and if you haven't been
driving enough it may not be getting charged.
Always best to measure these things before you go down the rabbit
hole chasing something else.

You could try putting a full slow charge on your battery overnight to see
if it makes any difference.
