Which way to install clutch release bearing?
Noticed this paper in my new release bearing box. I replaced this part on my last clutch change (ACT, which is now slipping) but didn't see this paper in there and not even sure which configuration I put it in on. Could this be why it's slipping perhaps? OR does this just adjust pedal feel/travel? Which way is best for a spec 2+? |

Doesn't the spec clutch come with it's own TO bearing?

Maybe it is only when you use their FW.

Attachments from another thread, allegedly from a Clutchmaster's manual.

Ghost, thanks much for that info!
That's what I've been waiting to hear. I did my clutch solo last year and I paid no attention to the different way to install that. We will see which way it's in there, that may explain why it's slipping so soon. |

Just changing my clutch experiencing the same problem having EU e90 330i N52.
Car is originally from Germany beeing driven in Europe for the whole time. The correct orientation is the SHORT position - just compared it with old EOM dismounted from my car no matter what the flyer says.. |
