Before Pics of my new 335i

I'm so happy, and so tired.. but I figured I would pop up a few pics of it with full transport filth on it..

Happy no front license plate mount, but apparently cars built june-on get the headlight washers even if you don't get the cold weather package.. not happy about that..

Car already attracting the cutest girls in the universe:

New toy and old toy

the taped up, plastic covered interior..

it was tough getting them out for dinner..

more pics to come once it is fully detailed and I find some good settings.. I want to take it to the city to get some night-light shots..

nite all!

Cute kids!
Definitely get some matte black grills. I put mine on today and the car looks so much better. Especially with blacklines.

I got the grills from Jlevi

Thanks!

I gotta see some pics of the grills in AW.

I like the brushed alum look on the window trim, I think it goes great with AW

time to continue the detail!

my dealer told me they serve no purpose but to get the car dirty. I don't like the cutouts

lol they work! just when you dont want them to

You go to squirt the wipers and just hold it for a tad too long...and suddenly now you are washing 2 other cars around you on the highway

Mine have helped to clear the bug grime that my car ingested after driving upstate in the middle of the night...lol

I like the combo too. The gray poplar looks ok, but I am less than impressed with the finish, seems "bubbly" at the surface.. I used to work wood and I have never left anything like that..

I finished about 12 hours of detailing... holy crap my back is killing me.. and the car looks pretty good. I think it needs a deeper polishing though, it seems like there is acid rain etching on the hood, trunk and roof.. clay didn't take it out nor did z-aio.. There were a couple of other tiny dark imperfections as well, I have them all memorized having been ober the car 14 times..

still aside from those imperfections the car looked great after I was done (after pics coming soon), and I decided to take it for a nice ride around Hunterdon County (some nice roads out here, by Round Valley, etc), and it was nice, the wife liked the ride too..

then I get back and.... the HORROR!!! brake dust all over the rear of the car.. My god it was terrible!! busted out the zaino QD and microfiber and it came up easily, but damn, I thought just my SS had that problem.. I shoulda picked up a 95 chevy pickup beater or something that I don't care about how dirty it is or rocks hitting it or door dings.. This thing is going to drive me nuts... I am planning on getting velvet ropes to put around it wherever I park..

I decided I would pay 20 grand if someone invented a technology that keeps your car clean through all conditions, some kind of ionic anti-static forcefield...

I need a massage! time to re-RTFM
