Hard to say. Depends on your dealership. Not only did we have actual BMW techs say this is a "good thing to have on the car," but we know of many cars that have been to the dealership without a problem.

I go to the dealership with my Logic HVI on, and they don't give me a problem. I doubt they will give you one for the Catch Can either.
