As I was driving by. I waved and said thnx.

I get compliments almost daily.
Just had a guy ask to take his picture with the car, not a joke. He loved it.

The car is really well liked in the wild, hated online by some.

That’s my experience.
Multiple people at the PORSCHE dealer told me, “I really like your car man. That looks great.”

I don’t think you’re right that’s it’s hated. If I only lived online, I’d be more inclined to agree.

Don’t mean to be rude, but it could be you.
If people don’t like you, then they probably won’t admit they like your car.

Either way, this car is a compliment magnet for me. I guess it could be me. I try to be nice to people and smile a lot. But, I didn’t get any compliments in my Nissan Juke, 340i, or MDX.

I’ve got probably ten already in about a month. It’s all anecdotal, but this is my experience.

They may not have seen the front end. And most of the owners I’ve talked to say “I just avoid looking at it from the front”. In fact that was Matt from Obsessed Gararge words, not mine. And people like him

Oh, and that’s the guy that bought a g80 and then trash talked it endlessly, said it was good enough for his clients or whatever... and then sold it lol?

Forgive me if I rate his opinion about the same as yours. Watching that play out was the funniest thing I saw at that time around here. He was just determined to tell the world how not smart he can be, he demanded we all know!

This happens to me too with my G82. It gets so much attention to the point that it’s annoying. A kid drove up next to me yesterday on 95 South in Jupiter (South Florida) and gave me the thumbs up. Nice gesture and he had a SRT Challenger so he was obviously a car guy. But, this happens to me like 2-3 times a week. Gets old fast. I have had much more expensive cars and none of them got anywhere near the attention my G82 gets…..
