SH 130 in Austin (near COTA) with the 85 mph speed limit is pretty close to me and one can “safely” cruise 90 - 95 without fear of a ticket. People routinely pass me doing 100 - 110 mph which is great ….. I’m more than happy to let them get the ticket
That section has several sections where you top a hill and can see that the road is clear, no traffic, no curves and no entrances. I "heard" it was a great location to test out your top end.

I lifted off the throttle and as I topped the hill 2 Dallas PD cars had two cars pulled over.

I guessed LASER, so I kept my speed to within ~ 5 of the limit. The guy who had been in front of me must have decided that 2 police had to be all of them, so he took off. As I topped the next hill I saw a third PD car take off after and pull over the dude.

I have LASER deactivated on my Escort 360c. I got too many false alerts. I figure my instant-on counter-measures are about as effective against LASER, too.
Well, they do make works 100% every time laser jammers today. I realize they are challenges with that in Texas but………

I live in what you’d call an upscale neighborhood around Phoenix and on our autobahn (Route 101 loop) it’s the Ferraris, McLarens, and Porsches not the Accords, Sentras, and Stingers.

My favorite story about speeding on I-95 in North Miami involves my wife's personal experience while driving at about 80 mph, well below the posted speed limit of 95 (oh that may have been the I-95 sign not the speed limit sign). Apparently, some younger guy was so enamored with my spouse and while engaged in speeding in the left lane to get a better view ended up running into the center concrete barrier at about that speed and crashed and failed to keep up with his target after the crash. So glad I don't have to go through that drama to enjoy every day with her.

There’s of leagues people in Texas that use them. Soon as I have time in the next couple weekends, I’m going to do a short video on my extremely stealth system that was professionally installed in my M5. Besides, if I’m not mistaken a hefty speeding ticket will cost a lot more money in Texas then being caught with laser jammers. Its way in California for sure.

Its funny. I'll take off at a light and pull a dozen more more car lengths in the M4 without thinking about it and some idiot then needs to do 20 over the limit to catch and pass me to 'prove they aren't slow'. I don't actually speed that much. I know that I'm a target and will be the one picked out of a group of NPC cars doing the same speed.

Curious why you pointed out minivans when they are probably much better suited for high speed relative to 90% of the traffic which consists of crossovers, and even worse, Broncos, Wranglers, pick up trucks, full size SUV's, etc.

So much anti-minivan sentiment in this world.

I witnessed a 1986 325ES going down I85 before there was so much traffic, doing 100+, I saw a car flying down an on ramp and the driver slowed down to see if it was a cop. It was a BMW 2002, maybe a 1970s model that has a top end of 105. The driver got it back up to 105 and the 2002 blew past at 120. The 325ES top end was 122 but the other car had the momentum up and had a built-up engine.

Also witnessed a 1992 BMW 535i with a stock Getrag 5 speed hit 133 mph in a short time.
