Need help with TurboTuner installation

I've searched and can't find the answer, so I'm sorry if I missed something.

I'm using the USB cable and I'm pretty sure (can't see of course) that I'm getting the narrow end over that tab but even when the cable is on there I cannot slide the plug out of the connector. I've tried pulling the USB cord to me once it's over, but I don't want to snap the tab of course. In any event that did no good. How do I get the cable to come out?

Tia!!

I've seen others use a dime taped to a string. The dime is small enough and thin enough to push it under the tab with thumb and forefinger. Easy to feel when the dime is in far enough, lifting the tab then the plug pulls right out. Sounds like you don't have the tab up enough.

Where in CA are you? If you're around LA area, I can just do it for you in less than a minute with my finger nail.

I thought you just bend back and break a little tab off and then the tmap goes on and off easily forever more. If it gets loose, just add electrical tape.

If you push the USB plug all the way (1") onto the tab it automatically lifts the tab. Then you just pull the TMAP cable out.
You do it all with one hand and whatever you do don't lift up on the USB cable while its on the tab.

Just installed mine yesterday. Had trouble at first but figured out that once you have the usb connector on there properly, you should be able to gently tug on the tmap sensor cables themselves to dislodge the connector. Should require little to no force when pulling. And usb is definately the way to go!

Like he said make sure you're pulling the wires and not on the connector sides (The sides are actually part of the assembly bolted to the car).
