I own a Noelle ECU tuned ( 360hp Verison based on ProgMan v28.n, in my case ) e93 and installed a Spearco FMIC in addition without changing the ECU tune.

This caused:

- 18 degF less engine oil temperature
- improved throttle response
- faster turbo spoolup
- car feels faster ( pretty fast )
- no changes on boost

My car put down to the dyno 373.5 chp and 515+ cnm ( Step, 5th gear ) before the FMIC. I will redyno with the FMIC soon.

This would be a nice mod for the Dinan Stage 2 Flash or a Shark tune I guess .

Why dont you dyno it in 4th gear like the rest of the 335i community? At least that way you could compare your power to others....

Also, try to get the whp reading the next time you get a dyno done.

5th gear should provide better results, since it's actually 1:1.
We can't because we'll hit the governer.
Eugen's Noelle 335 has the governer removed.

I agree with the crank numbers though...Let's see some whp numbers!

IMO 4th gear would provide better results, cause the shorter gearing would be able to put down more whp to the dyno, I guess. A 5th gear dyno would be more conservative and realistic.

That 18º F (10º C) drop in oil temp is strange, I thought that the thermostat controlling flow to the OC would keep it at the same temp. The piezos are set up to be efficient at relatively (240ºF) high temps, will lower temps adversely affect fuel mileage?

Sorry, I don't know anything about milage increases by now. Probably in 3-4 weeks. I'm impressed about the FMIC even it will take some more time to fit perfectly on my car.
