No the problem is not reslolved. I'm contacted AA and they've helped as much as they can for being in Miami. Without actaually driving the car it's hard to discribe what is happening and when. I have to do the troubleshooting myself. I haven't tied contacting the place that installed it.

Need help with my oldie 325i
First off sorry about reviving this thread but researching everywhere for my answers always lead to a dead end. being this is the only thread / topic found for my problem I might as well ask and see if I get a reply!
SO. I bought a used 06 325i (automatic) with 160k miles.... $4,000.00 isn't bad for the car but yea a lot of miles. anyways I want to modify the car for decent HP Gains and the stage 3 intake to my understanding is the obvious thing to-do. 1. is it worth the trouble with my car almost being 200k miles 2. does the intake manifold parts need to be off a 06 330i? or any model year will work? 3. with an auto transmission car will it be a noticeable difference / affect my engine as far as reliability??? again sorry for reviving this thread but anything helps! |

wow, old thread - haha. Things were so much harder back then. There weren't even free 3 stage tunes from bimmerlabs

2. it doesn't have to be off a 330i, but getting one off an 06 N52 (with the silver valve cover) is probably easiest since there are differences in the PCV system. Remember though, the 3 stage came on lots of cars - the 530i, X3, X5, Z4, etc. It doesn't have to be from an E90. Don't pay $500 for one either. And don't get confused with the M54 DISA manifolds, which don't work on the N52. 3. Well of course the AT saps some of the fun, but yeah, it's going to make a difference. The baseline between a 325i and a 330i is like 45hp, plus a broader (and earlier) torque curve. |

Don't forget the TCU. Bimmerlabs has a version that turns on the Gear display and drops the stupid up shift delay while turning in sport mode. ZF gearbox only. |

BTY I have both versions of the N52. The 3IM mod is well worth it. Power gain and throttle response. |

Also, I need to tune it now but heard options about hassmachine having tunes available? Also bimmerlab is new to me. Am I able to run a tune for a standard e90 by myself rather than spending 500 bucks in Toronto? I akready have the DCAN cable but not the one provided by bimmergeeks. You need to sign up to get the files. I have help pages too, but hopefully this doesn't get me banned or something:
https://www.bimmerlabs.com/help#winkfp Basically you don't really need to worry about the flashing itself - you just have to get the software installed and configured. It can still be a pain though, and ultimately this is just a stepping stone to a real app, but it works pretty well for now. |

Its a free tune - expect stock 330i performance, because thats what it is. Still, a big jump over the 328i and not far off from "performance" tunes of a few years ago.
If you want more, thats possible too, but not for free. |

I'm currently running AA TUNE on 328i n52 6spd with 3im. When I give it full throttle I don't feel the power at all. When I give it 30-40% throttle hold it for 1-3 sec then full throttle the car really opens up like a dream!!! If i remove my AA TUNE and flash it with the 330i Bimmer labs tune. Will I get more consistent power?
With the oem intake manifold installed before with the AA TUNE. I would always feel the power every 5-6k rpm consistently.. |
