2009 BMW Ordering Guide including LCI e90 Sedan - BMWNA
BIMMERFILE has the 2009 BMW Ordering Guide in an old story from Jun 23, 2008.
This 2009 ordering guide includes all BMW NA Sedan models including the e90 LCI Sedan, plus the M3/M5 Sedans and the M6 Coupe. Not sure why every BMW model is not included, but the guide is only dated June 16th, 2008 and there are periodic revisions. I am sure there is a July edition that is more comprehensive. The new 335d Sedan Diesel model is not included in this revision. http://www.bimmerfile.com/wp-content...ring-guide.pdf Even my local BMW Dealer in LA didn't have this when I went to order a 2009 e90 335i Sedan last week on July 14th, 2008. Please make this file and link a sticky, if there is a July 2008 revision of the ordering guide that is more current. Thanks to our friends at BIMMERFILE. Cheers PS I did look for a duplicate thread or post and couldn't find one. |

Theres no difference in quality. . .It's not like they just starting doing it 6 months ago. It's been going on for quite some time now. . .1968 is when they began assembling BMWs, that's 40 years. Maybe that argument held water 30 years ago but I'm pretty sure you're not getting a second rate BMW out of S.Africa.

Especially interested in 2009 E92 colors (will sparkling graphite still be available for the coupe?) and if logic sound system will be included in the base price or as a stand alone option...

FYI, the award winning Rosslyn plant is a full blown BMW manufacturing facility (full of OEM German people from the fatherland, if you're so inclined ) unlike assembly lines (putting together CKD kits) in India, China and such.

NOOOOOOO!!!!
Sparkling Graphite is no longer a color for the 3er The damn M stole it edit: actually it looks like their dropping the color all together. How could they drop what was their flagship color that nearly every single photo used for advertisement was with SG???? I'm really pissed. I was going to get that color again and didn't care that I had 2 cars that were the same color.

it appears (in the document) ONLY the 3-series sedans (including M3 sedan) will have the new iDrive. i know this because if you look in the foot notes, if you add BT and Navi you have access to online information services == new iDrive. i am suprised that the new iDrive is not being installed in the more expensive 5-series and 6-series...boy am I glad I am not in the market for a 2009 5er/6er.

This is very aggravating. They left Barbera Red which I've seen maybe a handful of times actually on the road and Monaco which just doesn't have much depth for a metallic color. A guy in my garage parks next to me with Monaco and it just looks bland, no offense to anyone with that color, just my opinion. Platinum Bronze just looks like an old man color that you would see on a Crown Vic, Blue Water is going to be a complete powder blue chick or non-straight male color.
The only color that sounds promising is Tasman Green. And obviously Montego and Space Grey(which SG is ten times better). Ugh what a shitty start to the day.

yeah Darkcloud, I was thinking of going A22 again when I update to the LCI model next year. I really like sparkling graphite. Space grey just doesn't have the character of sparkling graphite imho. I'll probably consider something a little bolder this time around, maybe barbera red or montego blue. Tasman green and Blue Water seem to be spin offs of the now defunct arctic metallic (A34)...

You guys are soooo right. My 330 was graphite w/ terra, and it was killer. I was really looking forward to SG w/ saddle leather, and my dreams have been shot to hell. It's not that I mind space gray, it's just too light and bland for me, and doesn't have the depth or richness of a deep gray like SG. Looks like I'll be getting Monaco w/ saddle instead........
